BitBazooka LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company doing business as Jonathan, provides salon software and AI-assisted booking. This notice describes information handled through our website, owner application, salon booking pages, widget and enabled messaging features. The salon separately controls its services and client records; its own privacy notices also apply.
We handle information you provide, including account and contact details, appointment requests, conversations, support requests and photos you choose to upload. Conversations can contain hair history, preferences and other details relevant to salon services. Jonathan can turn those details into structured knowledge used to support the salon and future interactions.
When a salon connects Square, we access information allowed by that connection, such as its service catalog, team, customers and appointments. We also maintain operational records, including account permissions, phone-verification status, agreement acceptance, subscription status, AI usage, errors and security events.
Information is not stored exclusively in Square. Jonathan and its service providers also process or store conversations, supplied photos, structured knowledge and operational records. Do not put payment-card numbers, passwords or government identification numbers into chat. Stripe handles payments for Jonathan subscriptions through its hosted payment pages.
We use information to provide booking and intake, learn the salon's instructions, maintain relevant client context, verify access before sensitive actions, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, investigate problems and protect the service. Authorized personnel may review relevant records when providing support or investigating an issue.
AI systems process relevant conversation content, salon information and uploaded photos to produce responses, summaries and structured knowledge. AI responses can be inaccurate; the salon remains responsible for its services and professional decisions.
Product diagnostics and improvement remain subject to the restrictions attached to the information. We do not use information received from Square, including anonymized Square information, to train or enhance AI systems. A salon's permission to connect Square does not override Square's restrictions.
We do not sell your personal information.
The salon receives information needed to handle its clients and appointments. We use service providers for hosting, AI processing, authentication, messaging, support and subscription billing. Relevant providers include Amazon Web Services, Square and Stripe. The information each receives depends on the feature you use. These providers may process information outside your state or country under the arrangements applicable to the service.
We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to lawful requests, or as needed to investigate fraud, protect rights and address security incidents. We do not give a salon access to another salon's private client records through Jonathan.
We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers and carriers process the information needed to deliver requested messages, manage opt-outs and protect the messaging service. Requesting a verification code does not enroll you in a marketing-message program. See the SMS Terms.
We use cookies and browser storage to keep accounts signed in, protect requests and reconnect supported conversations. Clearing this storage can sign you out or prevent a conversation from being restored on that device.
Retention depends on the record and its purpose, including providing the service, maintaining relevant salon knowledge, resolving support issues, protecting accounts, and meeting billing or legal obligations. Some operational records expire automatically; other records require a reviewed deletion process. We do not promise that all records disappear immediately when an account or connection changes.
When Square authorization is revoked, we must stop access to and delete the Square information covered by that authorization as required by Square's terms. This is separate from canceling a Jonathan subscription or requesting deletion of a broader Jonathan account. Records retained for a separate legal or billing obligation are not available as general salon knowledge.
You can choose what to share in conversation and whether to upload photos. Contact the salon to correct its appointment or service records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information held by Jonathan, or to ask how it is used. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the salon before acting. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law.
Salon owners can disconnect Square and manage their Jonathan subscription separately. SMS recipients can opt out as described in the SMS Terms. Restricting information or disconnecting a service can prevent features that depend on it from working.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect and process. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
